Wanted to do something cute for a change. First thing that came to my mind was a fox selling sugar, an old inside joke with my little brothers that has spread in my family and extended family. It is also neatly connected with a local saying (unreliable translation) “Sour, said the fox about the rowan berry”. A quick internet search told me that this saying seems to be a localized reference to the “The Fox and the Grapes” fable. So I added some rowan berries and leaves. Fox sculpted in Zbrush, retopo in Blender and texturing in substance painter. This is a little diarama I made which consists of an opened ammo crate spilling it’s contents, a box of shotgun shells and some frag and stun grenades. Everything was made in Maya 2018. A crate project in my Principles of Game Design class! I always call these “Dog Prisons” because they are always so confined and small. I picked this style crate because of geometric it was, I figured it would be easy. The first time I modeled it, it was extraordinarily hard, and took me days. I am proud of my texture and lighting here, I am a fan of complimentary colors. This is my Fallout Storage Crate Tribute. I wanted to add some extra color to the storage crates found in Fallout 4. This isn’t meant to be perfectly accurate. This was a project for school and needed to be an efficient model in terms of geometry and textures.

I’d like to revise some of the decals, but over-all I’m happy with it.
