I’ve been working on props for a fantasy Japanese type game environment and this oni mask and katana is a part of it.
The project is called ‘Oni’s rest’ , I’ll upload the mini environment when I make it game ready(absolute torture). I learnt a lot so quality will be improving slowly but surely.
there’s some engravings on the katana, which are emissive.
the one on the butt cap(I searched up katana part names, dont @ me) translates to “end”,
and the one on the hand guard reads “kishi kaisei” which translates to “wake from death and return to life”.

Bilbo’s Pantry is inspired by the Bag End Pantry concept created by the amazing John Howe. That concept, along with the Lord of the Rings and Hobbit movies, motivated me to create this scene.
