This is my attempt at modelling World of Warcraft’s Sulfuron Keep from the Firelands raid.
This model was created for a college project so any feedback would be greatly appreciated!
And just as a side note: I am aware that the underside of the model and the fact that the platform is poking out from the lava does look rather unusual, however the main reason for this is because I wasn’t originally planning to upload this scene as a physical model that could be viewed from any perspective, instead, once the model was completed, I intended to take a single, static render of the scene as if it were looking through the eyes of a player, and uploading that image to my Artstation account, meaning that I wasn’t really focussing on any of the areas of the model that wouldn’t be seen within the final render. Fan art of a house I saw in a SuperCell game “Boom Beach Frontlines”.
I did high/mid/low poly models for this project. The high-poly (153,777 tris) for the bake of course, the mid-poly (38,995 tris) for sketchfab and the low poly (5.8 03 tris) as a game asset. The low-poly could be lower but I preferred to keep some details.
I implemented the low poly in Unity, adding some animations and particles.
