Durian has thick and thorny skin. It is famous and well known as the inspiration for Singapore’s Esplanade. Not only so, it is notoriously famous for its overwhelming stench. Yet to some, the smell is disgustingly nice. Durians are also analogues of treasure chests with many compartments. Inside each durian is approximately 5 different segments with each enclosing 2/3 portions of creamy yellow coloured and textured flesh wrapping around a large seed.
