Inside, his patented 116-ton hydraulic-powered Universal Testing Machine could exert a force of up to 1,000,000lb, bringing rigorous new understanding to the strength of construction materials. Outside, he declared his independence over the door, ‘Facts Not Opinions’. To ensure colour accuracy the Raw Photography was profiled with X-Rite ColorChecker and a unique profile created for sRGB Colour Gamut in Lightroom. Scale bar has been used to ensure scale accuracy. Note there are 2 diffuse maps with this package. The first diffuse map texture is the original photography, the second map is called diffuse_3 and are delit for re-lighting so you have both options available to you. Sometimes delighting can cause artifacts.

I bought a setup for my microscope to use it as a photogrammetry tool for very small objects. I’m not there yet regarding accuracy, but I am pleased with this first results. The photogrammetry C1 I made by mirroring the half that was completely scanned, and I still miss a lot of details, but the reason for wanting to be able to also make photogrammetry models is that I want to be sure about the overall shape of my models. As you can see, even though most of it is the same, especially the transverse processes (the “wings”) have a slightly different orientation. I need to redo the scan to be sure if I need to remodel the modeled C1.
I added another scan made with agisoft with the same set of photos. The scan is totally different somehow, not only in the details but also in the larger features.
(and yes, I’m a perfectionist..)
Edit: added yet another version with agisoft. Used 514 photos and mirrored one half. It’s getting better, even without image stacking. The microsope probably isn’t good enough to do that 3D Model is ready to download for free, this model contains 76836 polygons.

The volcano erupted on March 19 on Reykjanes Peninsula after a swarm of earthquakes. It is the first eruption in about 800 years for this area.
