Small diorama I made for my last assignment in university. Heavily based off of Jim Chen's “Mushroom Village". https://www.artstation.com/artwork/qbV4P While working on this, I tried out 2 different workflows to retopologize a sculpt. I’ve been watching these mushrooms grow in a little patch of forest near my house and the #AgisoftNatureChallenge provided a good incentive to see how well they’d scan. I was a bit surprised at how some of the details like the ant colony entrance turned out. All in all, it was a good experience trying to capture something that I might not have attempted otherwise.
Model made from 132 12MB images taken with a Samsung Galaxy Note 8 and processed in Metashape using “High” quality settings.
