A re-make of the classic BMW 2002, this future version is an electric, semi-autonomous vehicle. The “waterline” band is now where the sensors reside, and you won’t find any exhaust pipe! In terms of modeling, the overall model consists of 3 nurbs patches (roof, glass, and the body). This cool weapon design was created during a game development with very interesting gameplay. It’s not a real weapon. With it you can change the gravitational alignment in a room in order to walk on walls or ceilings. This enables clever puzzles to be solved.
My job was to create the pure mesh. For various reasons, no classic high poly / low poly was built for texture bakes and the final mesh was textured directly.

This landscape was made entirely in VR with Gravity Sketch for a tutorial on my channel. It utilizes an original workflow of mine where I use Gravity Sketches volume brush to create convex shapes that can easily be converted into clean geometry with booleans.
Each material can inherently share the same gradient texture as well, but to make it presentable in Sketchfab I have baked a unique color into each material’s gradient. This model also works extremely well with decimation, and can still retain it’s form when decimated by 99%. So it’s not your standard model, but with some tweaking there’s a lot you can do with it :)
