This is a 3D reconstruction of a typical 15th century Bed, with an oak wood frame and linen bedding. The matress is suspended on ropes, which are attached to the frame. Wessex Archaeology 3D models are historically accurate - based on real world artefacts with input from historical and archaeological experts. Originally intended for the artstation challenge, sadly I joined too late and couldn’t join officially.
Still I loved this concept so much and wanted to challenge myself by creating this in a narrow timeframe. There were some hickups and shortcuts taken on the way, but it turned out alright :D
