The 3D model presents a digital reconstruction of solid and riveted rings of archaeological mail armour. To create 3D models of the rings, we used polygonal modelling functions of Blender software. In order to record the relevant measurements of the mail rings, we used a list of parameters. This list includes 11 parameters for a riveted ring and four parameters for a solid ring. A faraam armour knight I created for my Masters degree final year project. Based on the concepts and artwork of the Faraam Armour from Dark souls 2 & 3. The character is around 70k polys, with about 30k of that being hair cards. Sculpted in Zbrush and retopped in 3ds Max, textured in Substance Painter and Designer. Hair cards were created using Maya Xgen. The character is utlising 6 * 2k texture sets for the armour and weapons, as well as 1* 512 for the arrows and 1 * 1024 for the underpelt 3D Model is ready to download for free, this model contains 158823 polygons.
