Reupload, cause I added seagulls (very important) Made this floating island with a lighthouse in 5 days trying to be done by the end of the week. And I gotta say, this was a marathon. Were a lot of troubles with baking, making fine details. If I had more time I would probably did separate bakes, but not this time. So, about the model: it’s a handpainted lowpoly with baked map from a highpoly. Triangles count: 27,5K. I was going with anime style (Miyazaki movies) and for reference I used artworks of Jim Shore (“Benatrex - Shorelights”), you’ll notice the lighthouse that I recreated. The project of the shipyard was an incredible task: to create an interactive project that displays the work of all the workshops and mechanisms of the factory and at the same time it had to be mobile.
Our team has found a unique solution that has no analogues in the world: a scalable object with all of its processes was visualized by us and also animated and filled with necessary information by creating 3D-models and using the application of augmented reality.

Second university project, to create a floating island diorama
Went for all assets having relatively low pollys to have a fuller, busy impression.
My aim is to create a story by portraying a witch’s island of books, with her oragami birds and fish, aswell as her dragon Familiar. I tried to make most of the pages unique and included references to the dragon on a few of the books.
Not too sure about the colouring, was intending to have far more pinks and turquoises to aid a magical feel but ended up rather brown.
Willow trees are my favourite so went for a magical pink fantasy one.
Struggled a lot with the composition of the island and in hind sight would like to move everything around, but overall semi-happy.
