Kimber Custom Tactical Law Enforcement Rail II (TLE/RL II). This is the same handgun that's used by the Los Angeles Police Department's Special Weapons and Tactics team, which entered service from 2002 to present. Since around the 2010s, LAPD SWAT has upgraded their Kimbers to have a picatinny rail frame, which allowed the mounting of flashlights. The SureFire x300 series remain their main flashlight attachment of choice. Interestingly, LAPD SWAT Kimbers feature custom engraved markings on the slide and has a special serial number “KLA114XXX". KLA stands for “Kimber Los Angeles", 114 is the police radio SWAT code, and XXX are the 3 unique serial numbers. Its been a while since I posted anything. Well, I was working on my bigger project yet, The Honey Badged by Q with EoTech XPS3-0 and PEQ-15!
The AAC Honey Badger PDW is an integrally suppressed personal defense weapon based on the AR-15. It is chambered in .300 AAC Blackout and was originally produced by Advanced Armament Corporation (AAC). The weapon is named after the honey badger.
Both the rifle and the cartridge used were developed in close co-operation with American Special Operations units to create a suitable and effective replacement for the HK MP5 and similar close quarters combat weapon systems. The rifle is designed to be very convenient for military use where M16s are issued and in common use, since many similarities would exist in the fire controls, weapon manipulation, and magazines. Despite the weapon being integrally-silenced, it can be made even quieter by using 220 grain subsonic .300 Blackout ammunition.
