Here’s an older model I built for the Star Wars Clone Wars TV series. It’s from season 2 Episode 17 “Bounty Hunters”. It’s has a rough painterly diffuse which is fed straight into the bump channel, and little to no gloss, as was characteristic of that show. The mesh is fairly high res for a realtime asset as it was built to be automatically subdivided during the rendering process. This is a small prop for urban sci-fi scenes. I came up with the idea as a science fiction version of a modern paper newspaper vending machine. Although newspapers vending machines have been being phased out for some time due to the transition to the internet… I thought this concept would work well as something to fill in an urban environment.
The rack was modeled in blender and textured in substance painter. The screen animation uses 16 planes for each frame, cycled through using shape-keys. The screen animation graphics were created within blender using keyframe animation, the principled BDSF shader, and the compositor 3D Model is ready to download for free, this model contains 820 polygons.

It is rigged and i also added a base rig version for blender and the source file for 3ds max 2016-over
