I drew this creepy guy a few months back as part of a series of robots with interesting shapes I was doodling. He seemed like a fun little thing to throw a quick animation on too so I modeled him up and did a simple looping animation. I may make a version 2 where I replace the engine-coil-thing in the center with a horrible cage where he can store the children he's trapped with his terrifying, spindly hands. The model is fully textured and was created with 3DS Max 2016 using the open subdivision modifier which has been left in the stack to adjust the level of detail.
The model has 33.800 polygons with subdivision level at 0 and 134.800 at level 1.
Elements are logically named and grouped so they can be separated to adjust to your needs.
The model contains quads and tris (no N-gons).
Scale/transform is set to 100%, units are set to centimeters, texture paths are stripped and and it is made to real world scale.
FBX, OBJ and 3DS files have been included in separated HI and LO subdivision versions.
Renders were made in 3DSMax with V Ray and have no post processing.
