A Rifle inspired by the Krag-Jørgensen rifle: Designed and produced in Norway it was the main weapon used by the Norwegian army up until the invasion of 1940. Versions of the Krag-Jørgensen was also used by the US army until the 1890's (before the Springfield rifles came). During WW2 the Norwegian king (His Majesty the King Haakon VII) was an important symbol for Norwegian unity against the German invasion, and thus his monogram (H7) was used to mark resistance against the occupation (both as a “civillian rebellion" and active military resistance). I did not expect this one to drag so long as in the beginning I was merely remaking the miniature version.
I have to design the whole thing from the ground up, from the size of the barrel, its bullet all the way to how the magazine can actually insert into the gun.
I stick the design as closely to the miniature as possible and spend most of my time figuring out the mechanic.
4K texture and 2 versions. One slightly wider to look more akin to the miniature.
