Testing exporting from 3ds Max using CAT for rigging / animation into SketchFab. Curious to see if I can get Embergen to create VFX for this (working with Embergen beta currently) TONS of room for improvement, a W.I.P. The best solution I found (with 3ds Max) was using the Game Exporter twice (export, then re-import, then export again). The wing flapping animation has a bit of an unwanted wiggle to it. Testing my train-rig with an animation on an unrealistic curve
(the curve is a bit to sharp, train would crash in real life).
I’m not 100% happy with the rig but so far it works well , the axes recognize the animation path, steering works and everything is on rail.
Next, I’ll create the rig for the wagons and add some tire rotation.
