Gameready character model of the famous Uruk-Hai Lurtz from the Fellowship of the ring. Highpoly made in Zbrush. Lowpoly mesh made in 3dcoat and 3dsMax. Textured and baked in Substance painter 2 and some clean up in Photoshop. First time I did a full game character pipeline. In this test I wanted to test how much there is difference when baking normals and AO from much higher polycount mesh.
28 million mesh (A7R IV) vs. 16 million mesh (D5300).
Both models have been decimated to 800k meshes.
It was a part cloudy day so i used AWB with both cameras.
Personally i’m surprised that almost double the polycount shows on minimal difference when baking 3D Model is ready to download for free, this model contains 1617841 polygons.
