About the project: This piece is by-product of blind learning of new software. Sculpted in MasterpieceVR, optimised in 3dsMax + textured in Substance Painter. Later on i included it in other project. Description: giant monster worm. his throat is probably be like 6 meters diameter. In original idea that creature live on some kind of large asteroid or tiny planet in rocky environment. Software used: Agisoft Photoscan, RAW photo editor, Blender,Instant Meshes and Substance Painter.
Mesh:
The Original Scan had around 22M faces/triangles and was decimated to around 4.5M before baking a normal map from it.
The Lowpoly has 20K triangles.
Texture: the texture in the preview is an 8K texture, i’ve also made a 2k and 4k texture.
If you want a good view of the scan’s quality, check the ‘Matcap+Surface’ option in the model inspector.
Remember you can adjust the lighting by holding ALT + Left mouse button.
