A 2.5D assignment from my CGMA course on Creating Stylized Game Assets with Ashleigh Warner! This project was heavily inspired by the Hermannshof Botanical Garden in Germany, where I used to stroll and read under the beautiful wisteria trees for hours as a child. I wanted to recreate that magical little space for myself with this project :) Learned a lot from my first 2.5D model - will update this project later following Ashleigh's feedback. Cheers! This low-poly, animated asset is based on the real paving machine “Vögele Super 1900-3i” from the german manufacturer Wirtgen Group Company.
The model is a simplyfied version of the original machine.
Its one of the worlds most sold machines for road construction. The machine drives a certain distance while its laying down a fresh layer of asphalt behind it.
The chain tracks are also animated and move like in real life. The model also has a pile of ashpalt on the front, which is decreasing over time.
