In this assignment we were asked to creat a WOW inspired weapon. I found this assignment quite challenging at first, I wasn't familiar with weapons and so coming up with a creative design that fit the brief took me longer than expected. However, in the end, I am pretty happy with my outcome. I chose a coral/deep sea theme for my weapon and thanks to this I was able to play around with lots of fun colors and the presentation. My submission for the second GameArt assignment at DAE Howest. A lot of struggle in the design phase led to a lot of difficulties and mistakes. I didn’t think this would lead to anything good, but i stuck with the few things i had thought out and it came out pretty okay in my opinion. I learned a huge amount however and feel way more comfortable now going into the final assignment!
