“Henry the Fish” is a sculpture created from ocean debris by the folks at Bandon, Oregon based Washed Ashore, which builds and exhibits aesthetically powerful art to educate a global audience about plastic pollution in oceans and waterways and spark positive changes in consumer habits. The fish sculpture was modeled from iPhone photos using the Apple Object Capture API. Like most people, I am a fan of Autumn, and wanted to combine my recent photogrammetry work with something seasonal. This was created from an actual pumpkin with photogrammetry. I photographed and processed the gourd in Metashape to create a hipoly models from which the textures were baked.
