Hi there everybody, i did this piece back in september and i had finally the time to finish it.
I did this model mainly because i wanted to test some stuff , first i wanted to learn xgen in maya and find a possible work flow for making the hair really quickly, and second i wanted to better study the position of the joint for the face so that i could animate it, but i learned that without blend shapes i cannot do a lot in terms of facial animation g.g and third i wanted to test my skill in making a sculpt portrait of a female model, i don’t know if the final result of this is good or not, but i know that i can improve a lot more 🙂
i did two version of this piece one wit less polygons and a smoothed version with more polygons, i did this because i didn’t want hard edges coming out on the render.
and this is the final result, she is the famous suicide girl Riae, hope you like it.
