Description The sculpture, dated around the early Roman Imperial Age, became part of the Medici collection in 1670 and was initially located in Villa Medici in Rome. In 1786 it was moved to Florence in the Uffizi Gallery where it has been conserved in different locations throughout the years. Recently (2016) it has been moved in a storage area in Palazzo Pitti.

And the whole thing fits inside an 80-quart cooler to keep samples cold for up to 10 days.

This model proposes the use of plane mirror while scanning human 3D model with a laser scanner.
We scan a human model with a TLS and two mirrors in one scanning position instead of three scanning positions. This method can help decrease the scanning time (i.e., the time the model needs to keep still).
