The aim of the project is to get enough materials for the future full-fledged work by architects, this involves obtaining a cloud of facade points.
To solve this problem, we applied a complex solution - a combination of laser scanning and photogrammetric imaging.
The work process is divided into 2 stages.
• The first stage involved laser scanning with panoramic photography and taking photos of the object from the UAV. It took 16 scanning stations and 350 photos to create an informative cloud of facade points. Using the RTC360 laser scanner and the Phantom Advanced UAV, this stage was completed in 4 hours.
• The second step was implemented by using Leica Cyclone and Capturing Reality software, which consisted of linking scan data in the local coordinate system.
The next item was an automatic combination of an aligned cloud of dots and photos.
And as a result of the data processing, we received a complete cloud of object points 3D Model is ready to download for free, this model contains 896093 polygons.
