Teresa Perales es la deportista española más laureada en la historia : 27 medallas paralímpicas, 22 mundiales, 43 europeas,-. A su medallero hay que añadir ser la primera deportista paralímpica galardonada con el Premio Princesa de Asturias de los Deportes en 2021.
