By repositioning the engine and moving some of the batteries and other equipment to the roof of the bus, the number of seats was increased from 26 to 33 seats. The length is still 12000mm and the height is 3300mm.

For my submission, I present MAT COP 21. COP 21 is inspired by the fictional character Eva from the pixar movie Wall-E. My artistic take on the challenge was to present a visual representation of the effects of climate change. Similar to the message conveyed in Wall-E my model expresses the juxtaposition of despair and hope for a ecologically sound future. The damage on the model symbolizes the negative impact on Earth but still holds hope in the form of the pod accepting the plant. I focused in on subtle details that are symbolic for these current issues such as: dented & bent metal, the burning lines ( Earth’s rising core temperatures), the cracked glass (depletion of the Ozone Layer) and, the black malice at the figure’s base (oil spills in our bodies of water).
