The Temple of Jupiter is a colossal Roman temple, the largest of the Roman world, situated at the Baalbek complex in Heliopolis Syriaca, Lebanon. The temple served as an oracle and was dedicated to Jupiter Heliopolitanus.
It is not known who commissioned or designed the temple, nor exactly when it was constructed. Work probably began around 16 BC and was nearly complete by about AD 60. It is situated at the western end of the Great Court of Roman Heliopolis, on a broad platform of stone raised another 7 m above the huge stones of the foundation, three of which are among the heaviest blocks ever used in a construction.
The Temple of Bacchus is part of the Baalbek temple complex located in the broad Bekaa Valley, Lebanon. The temple complex is considered an outstanding archaeological and artistic site of Imperial Roman Architecture and was inscribed as an UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1984. This monument to Bacchus is one of the best preserved and grandest Roman temple ruins; its age is unknown.Wikipedia.org - Baalbek, Temples of Jupiter & Bacchus قلعة بعلبك - Buy Royalty Free 3D model by LibanCiel 3D Model is ready to download for free, this model contains 3597908 polygons.

Economic prosperity in the city of Antioch, a vital agricultural and commercial center at the crossroads of the Roman Empire and strategically located on the N-S-E-W axis of the silk road, created an extensive middle-class population that was wealthy, sophisticated, cosmopolitan, and of course, liked a good party. Villas in this region were often opulently decorated with stunning wall frescos and floor mosaics, like this medallion of the wine god Bacchus. This floor mosaic was initially located in the entrance hall of a Roman villa as part of a much larger floor that included the similar mosaic also posted to this feed. As guests walked across the floor mosaic, these images of the wine god Bacchus and his “Thiasus,” or retinue of dedicated followers, would have created an atmosphere of wine-drinking revelry and merriment! Such a mosaic would suggest to guests that you enjoyed an excellent raucous dinner party with wine and all the delicious accompaniments! - Bacchus Mosaic from Antioch (325-330 CE) - 3D model by Specterras 3D Model is ready to download for free, this model contains 24123 polygons.
