The central tooth from an Argentina snail’s radula (Trophon geversianus) is part of its feeding apparatus. It was scanned in a synchrotron at the European Synchrotron Radiation Facility (ESRF), a particle accelerator in France. The teeth are used to drill through the shells of bivalve prey.
