This is a really fast easy-peasy project to test Blender 2.80 workflow and quality.
Modeling in Blender is awesome, has a complete toolset for every situation and nice modeling workflow.
UV Mapping can be better, i expanded with free addons, and for simple assets it working fine.
Shading with node-based workflow and eevee viewport in real-time is awesome, just… awesome!
Rendering… EEVEE is a blazing-fast real-time engine! Like it!
Compositing is a bit laggy atm, but it has potential.
Overall experience with blender is positive in many ways at the end!

Russian inspired army truck, merging concepts of the famous ZIL-130 and the never-released ZIL-Э133ВЯТ. Made in Blender, sculpted in ZBrush, UVed in Rizom and textured in Substance Painter. Also, a huge shout out to PureRef that doesn’t get enough credit. Made the cab and interior using high-low baking workflow on top of weighted normals to allow for baking a sculpted HD mesh with dents and scuffs. The rest of the truck is using weighted normals only.
Very good quality interior, making it suitable for 1st person camera.
Game ready although the policount may not be the best for a background enviroment prop (unless you’re using Nanite).
The .blend file is included with the truck in its neutral possition, the tires undeformed and high resolution .tga textures. It is organized in collections containing the different truck parts to allow for easier creation and export of new interchangeable parts like Bumpers, Frame addons, tires, etc.

HCAR or if you have lots of time to say it: Heavy Counter Assault Rifle is sort of a “spiritual” younger brother of classic Browning Automatic Rifle( M1918A3 ) with lots of modern tacticool stuff slaped all around it.
Even if gun look really nice, and as far as I know and read, its shoot well, it wasnt really a sucess and lots of people have weird hatred toward it due to being pricy and only semi-auto…
But in games and animations this gun look really nice, and we can set it to full auto without any problem so its nice addition to any project that need some fresh big caliber gun :]

Weekend project, I could have added more details all around but main focus was mostly on getting the new addons to work with Blender. Missed the front of the robe while animating, will fix it later when I get some sleep. Flag and bandage are Jiggle-IK animated, rest is by hand. Model is rigged, there are two versions for rig, with and without ammo in the magazine. One with ammo in mag is… well, big, as ammo have some verts in it and also its separated to few parts so if you are not into animation of every case inside, you can just move mag fallower inside and remove one part so its look like ammo inside mag is actually moving(crude method, but few games do that with transparent mags).
Of Course there is also non-transparent magazine and rig without ammo inside so use this if you dont want to flood game with ammo that is not even visible.
Model have 4 PBR Materials in 4k +one for Vortex Venom Red Dot.
