After two years of gathering new equipment and more experiance, I was finally able to scan this Hazelnut Branch. It was especially hard to capture all the fine structutes without having them bonded together (in a 3D-Mesh meaning).
For this 3D scan 1480 images from a Sony Alpha 7R4 were used. The raw mesh has 137 million polygons and 8000x8000 textures (Diffuse, Normal, Occlusion).
The shown model has 500k Polygons and 4K Textures and was not altered or cleaned (except lowering the resolution).
