A model featuring the seven horcruxes made by Voldemort. These are: Tom Riddle's diary, Slytheryn's Locket, Ravenclaw's diadem, Hufflepuff's cup, Marvolo Gaunt's ring, Nagini and Harry himself. It took me more than I expected to finish this model (mainly because of the objects) but I like how it ended. I'm still practicing and improving my skills. I’ve been working on this project since mid January now and it’s finally finished! Everything is modelled in Blender and the textures are painted in Photoshop. Diffuse and Alpha maps only.
I thought I would create a scene with a small story behind it.
The mysterious tiny wizard was experimenting with his rare mandrake Root and home grown crystals. He found an old recepice on how to create a special magic potion with the ancient root. By trying it out, he mixes the wrong ingredients together, which turns out to be a magic spell for opening portals.
