Here is my project for the 6 props assignment in SGD 214. For this project I chose a to do a medieval fantasy study room theme. The props I chose are a candlestand, globe, scale, candle holder, locked book, and a hourglass. My inspiration for these props came from an old intrest in strange tabletop items like globes, hourglasses, and scales. I remember as a kid staring at maps and fiddling with hourglasses watching the sand dribble down to each side. Hello! This is my entry for the #StorybookChallenge. Since I was a kid I always dreamed of being an astronaut and I read a lot of books about space. For this challenge I teamed up with my girlfriend, who is a professional childern’s book illustrator, to recreate my desire to touch the stars. With this entry we wanted to pay homage to all the authors and illustrators that make all the childrens dream big with their books.
