I created this model based on references from the actual movie props and some amazingly faithful replicas.
The geometry is relatively light weight for use in game engines. The counter animation is geometry based, so it can be used dynamically and adressed by code.
Complete with 4K PBR textures.
My motivation for this piece came from rewatching the Aliens movies. I took this as an opportunity to learn Substance Painter and figure out how to bake maps for a more complex model like this.
It’s also always interesting to learn a few things about design in general and about the object you’re researching in specific.
When researching references it helped me to find out that parts of this design are based on real life rifles like the “M1A1 Thompson” and the “Spas 12” shotgun 3D Model is ready to download for free, this model contains 7959 polygons.

The E-22 Baster Rifle was primarily used and is famously known to be used by the Shoretroopers on the planet Scariff. It was their primary weapon, and is a variant of the well known E-11 Blaster Rifle/ Carbine. It has a double barrel attachment and a custom stock included within the weapon.
This isn’t game ready by any means, this is just the raw textures and model I used to make this weapon. You cannot make any changes, and you may use the model in a non-comercial use. This is purely for enjoyment and im not looking for compensation. Also please give credit if used in any projects and specifically ask for permission for anything more complicated in use.
