Next iteration of my work in progress of the Zaporozhets 965 model. I had to crunch polygons quite a lot this time, since the model in its original state would not fit through Sketchfab’s free tier limit. This cause some issues with shading and texture stretching, but since it’s a WIP model, i’m not worrying about that much 3D Model is ready to download for free, this model contains 1352521 polygons.

Super telephoto photogrammetry of a wreck abandoned boat derelict. Pealing chipping off layers of paint. Lots of seaweed and seashells from the lagoon of Venice.
Unfortunately I could’t get full coverage because I coun’t get very close to the subject, maybe 20m the closest, I could’t get all the photos I wanted especially from the top. This was one of times I wish I had a drone (not sure if it’s even allowed to fly in that area anyway), so I tried my best with a 400mm lens handheld from any place I could walk around it.
I managed anyway to get comfortably 3x8K textures and normals in a relatively low poly model.
Maybe if I find the right conditions again (low tide and good light) I could try to reshoot this one, maybe from a boat… stay tuned for a possible reupload 3D Model is ready to download for free, this model contains 99988 polygons.
