This is one of the characters I modelled for the mobile game Gods of Rome produced by Gameloft‘s Madrid studio.
Talos in Greek mythology was constructed by Hephestus to protect his island from invaders.

Back again with another one of these. When I was working on concept art, I envisioned this furnace as sort of the big brother to my little Boiler man I made before. Unlike the boiler, however, this big man is designed to provide power to an entire airship. Quite a large task but I’d say this massive potbelly’s up to it.

This is the result of two weeks work - starting with a base creation in modeled in Maya, sculpted in ZBrush, retopotolgized and then baked in Substance Painter.
