This is a 3D model of a Mecha, that is based on the ones seen in the ’80s anime, Robotech. Made to be a profilio piece during my courses at Southern New Hampshire University. First time working with no specific guidelines or restrictions but I tried to stay under 10k polygons. Just a quick and dirty test - wanted to try a tutorial I found.
Basically moving the vert along the normals, flipping them and then UV mapping them to a dark colour.
