Model is an adaptation of Doc Ricketts ROV 3D Model by MBARI. CC by Attribution. This 3D model was derived from Solidworks engineering drawings, but was textured and animated by Craig Mink from the Monterey Bay Aquarium. Deep-sea ROV Doc Ricketts. Doc Ricketts is a 4000m rated electro-hydraulic vehicle, specializing in scientific research. Ricketts was custom designed by an England based ROV company, “Soil Machine Dynamics.” MBARI took delivery of Doc Ricketts in 2008.
