The Neptune Class is a small cruiser designed for fleet protection and long range fire support. Its powerful ray shields can create a 15km “bubble" to protect a fleet from long range energy weapons. Often, multiple Neptunes will stand at 10 km intervals where their shields will interlock to encompass a larger fleet. The ship's primary armament are 4 forward firing Hercules cannon. The ship's low speed through real space and minimal secondary armament make it unsuited for independent operation as does its poor armoring. A new project using a new inner frame, referred to as Armatus. This particular variant is the Nocte. It’s made for a fantasy-esque setting and is a technological evolution of golems and automata, controlled by a pilot from within. Many functions of the unit are supported by magic. It requires two pilots to function. I unfortunately cut the cockpit out of this particular variant of the model, but you can see the hatch right beneath the head.
