Cette grande statue de bronze a été découverte en 1859 dans le lit du Rhône entre le pont Wilson et de la Guillotière. La chevelure en “boucles mouillées" suggère qu'il s'agit du dieu Neptune. Cette statue est le seul grand bronze romain conservé à Lyon car la plupart des statues ont été détruites et refondues dès l'antiquité. IIe ap- J-C N° inv.
