For this project I took the challenge of taking something from animation and bringing it into the 3D world of game engines. This project was really about utilizing and cross referencing multiple sources of reference when only limited amounts of information are shown about the subject matter. This brought the truck to life as a rig-ready game model in UE4 along with a sweeping stylized landscape.

A high poly version of one of my previous work, published over a year ago. It’s also my first attempt to create a PBR textures in Quixel Mixer. I think they look nice, anyway ;)
Modeled in Blender 2.91. Textures created in Inkscape (first bump maps - later convert to normal maps), Quixel Mixer and GIMP (adding dust on glass parts and PBR Textures generated in Quixel Mixer.
Interior and chassis are simplified.
