Dans le cadre d’une politique environnementale ambitieuse, la ville de Malaunay (France) vise à diminuer la dépendance énergétique de son patrimoine. C’est pourquoi, après avoir réalisée des travaux de rénovation énergétique, le conseil municipal a souhaité doter ce groupe scolaire d’une chaufferie biommasse (bois issu d’une filière locale) et d’une centrale solaire photovoltaïque. Cette centrale produira chaque chaque année 21MWh/an ce qui équivaut au besoin annuelle en électricité de 6 logements (hors chauffage).
Pour parfaire ce projet, l’équipe municipale a souhaité associer les habitants de la commune en leur proposant de financer une partie du projet.
