This Modell features every exterior detail close to the original (Including the fictional brand stickers) The suspension is kept low poly and is easy to animate. Note: This model is not rigged! I slighty reworked it from the old one. Mainly textures and some small changes to the mesh. I wanted to try modeling something really cartoony for once for more experimentation, but wasn’t sure exactly what. Then one of my friends gave me an idea for a crossover of spongebob and star trek. It sounded really cool, and this was the result from that idea.

This is a diorama created from one of Jenny Brozek’s concepts ‘The Gate’ found on Artstation. I really loved the concept when I saw it and was desperate to make it in 3D. It was a really nice project to sink time and effort into and I learnt a lot throughout the process. I created the model in Maya, Textured in Substance Painter to get the basic textures and colours down before taking the maps into Photoshop to start the painting process. I appreciate Jenny for letting me make her awesome concept come alive in 3D and I hope you guys like it too :).
