The Tower of Hercules (Spanish: Torre de Hércules) is an ancient Roman lighthouse on a peninsula about 2.4 km (1.5 mi) from the centre of A Coruña, Galicia, in north-western Spain. Until the 20th century, it was known as the “Farum Brigantium". The Latin word farum is derived from the Greek Φάρος Pharos for the Lighthouse of Alexandria. The structure stands 55 metres (180 ft) tall and overlooks the North Atlantic coast of Spain. It was built in the 1st century and renovated in 1791, and is the oldest lighthouse of the world. A magnificent piece realized by a blacksmith of his time (this craftsman was an incredible artist 👌)… Found near Arezzo, Italia.
See how he transformed the upper mane into a nice dragon crest… And the guy beneath the helmet, must have been a high-ranking nobleman who breathed fire 💪🙂 !
In brief, during that period (around 4th century BC) the region was a confederation of Etruscan cities, covering the entire Tuscany. Meanwhile, Rome remained a mid-sized city, competing for influence within the Latin league located further south.
Due to lack of angle of view, in certains parts I improvised some patterns.
