El nombre original de El Gran Dragón del Espacio es Daiku Maryu Gaiking.
Este era uno de 4 series animadas que se vieron en la pantalla chica todas las tardes llamado “El Festival de los Robots”, siendo parte de la nostalgia ochentera y gran parte de la cultura colectiva de toda América Latina.
