This was a PvP Arena I made for my friend’s minecraft v1.11.2 server. Players could fly around with my custom command block jetpack mechanism in the arena (sneak ingame to activate). They could run accross the dragon skeleton and use the rib cages as cover. They could also hit the fireballs at the corner towers to send it flying to opponents.
The overall style is based on the ruins in the game Journey, with a combination of the stepwell of Chand Baori from India, and Egyptian temples.

Build in minecraft v1.11.2 using default textures and worldedit plugin. Map cleanup with MCEdit. Model exported with Mineways. Uv unwrapped in Zbrush. Light, AO, and fog map baked in 3ds Max. Animated fireballs and clouds in 3ds Max.
Testing out animated effects. And baking maps in dual uv channels. Still getting tons of block export errors though 3D Model is ready to download for free, this model contains 133947 polygons.
