This is my final submission and the second prop for the artstation challenge “Dragon’s Rise: The Forgotten Realms”. It is also my very first time going for a handpainted style and i have to say i had soo much fun creating it. The haircut is made with quad polygon geometry, a.k.a hair cards. The hair geometry is meticulously constructed with a single edge flowing through the center for easy rigging and intuitive spline manipulation.

  z - used to simulate Unreal’s Pixel Depth Offset effect
