Celebrating the 25th anniversary of the birth of Dolly the Sheep, the first cloned mammal to be created from an adult cell. Dolly was born on 5 July 1996 at the Roslin Institute, Scotland of a Scottish Blackface surrogate mother. She died on 14 February 2003. A pillbox and anti-tank blocks which formed part of the Innes Links Coastal Defences, a scheduled monument in Moray that ran from Lossiemouth to kingston. The coastal defences were built and used from 1941-42 to stop any possible German invasion though after the Battle of Britain the fear of invasion was greatly reduced and they were abandoned. This is a wooden wheel found at Bar Hill fort along the Antonine Wall. It has eleven spokes, a nave of elm and hubs that are lined with iron.
The Antonine Wall stretched right across Scotland, from the Clyde to the Forth. Constructed around 142 AD, and occupied for only 20 years, the remains of its ramparts, steep ditches, forts and bathhouses are still visible today.
