Low poly game ready model of a locomotive designed as a mashup of various EMD SW1200 variants. Painted in a Burlington Route livery (some liberties taken).
This is actually a remake of a model that was featured in one of the levels I created for No More Room in Hell, quirky details preserved. At the time I was not able to actually create 3d models properly and found a way to circumvent it by using Propper - an addon that allows one to create a Source Engine model using only the Hammer Editor. I thought this would be a great subject to test my abilities since there is an easy point of comparison with the original model. (Comparison pictures here: https://www.artstation.com/artwork/xJdygW)
Modelled in Blender and textured in Subtance Painter (Designer helped as usual).
