Here is a preview of ma lates game ready character - Alterum Mane. It took me a lot of time to finish but it was definietly worth it and I can see the progress! It’s modeled, uv-unwrapped, rigged and triangulated in Blender. I baked from high poly to low poly and textured it in Marmoset Toolbag 4. Model of Asuka Langley the anime Neon Genesis Evangelion! Posed as she is in her official artwork – spunky and tsundere.
I wanted to do a chibi model of Asuka after working on the Mass Produced Evangelion character (also visible on my page!), and in the end I think she came out really cute! I like modeling cute things truthfully as well as figurative characters, so this project was definitely a lot of fun. It was once again a big learning experience though, as I really tried to work on things like facial topology, that anime-feeling style, and being painterly with my textures. I still have a long way to go of course, but this felt like a big milestone that I’m happy to have done!
