The inspiration comes from a cake I saw in a French dessert shop. I really love the pinkness, so I wanted to make a pink cake. The set is modeled in Maya, and rendered in Mari. Some textures such as the biscuit at the bottom of the cake and the plate patterns are made in Photoshop. I really wanted to make an asset related to Skyrim, but it became something bigger. You can see here a few things from “The Elder Scrolls: The Official Cookbook” as well (the Horker Loaf with bacon pieces was approved by the writer herself in her Twitter lol). I’ve spent a lot of time painting a texture for each object since I really don’t know when to stop.
Except for my Vtuber avatar this is the longest of my projects, made with Blender and Substance Painter.
