旗山天后宮母獅
此對石獅，公開口搭繡球及綬帶，母閉口配少獅及繡球，其下少獅後肢站立，前肢搭著母親抬頭仰望，姿態勉強誇張，引領著觀者將視線回歸到母獅身上，充滿著兩兩呼應的關聯。胸前刻飾鱗甲，細瘦的身形順著胸臆仰首望天，畫出一道道遒暢的弧線，不管頭部、眼珠、眉毛、鼻頭、頰肉、耳朵乃至尾鬃等，莫不渾圓，進而達致造型的和諧與統一。而在長久歲月裡經香客不斷地撫摩，石獅的頭頂办形成一層烏亮的石皮，更將豐腴的脂肉表達地愈加生動。
